I know I am stupid but......

I know I'm stupid but, ..........................

1) Is there a "Contact Us" thing on this site that I just can not find? If so, can we put it in a better place. Or if not, is there a reason for that? Do we want it to be the webmaster or the president or what? Or what? LOL

2) THe clothes buying link thing looks cool. Should we put an actual link to it on the links page in the link categories too?

3) What is a GBO swag? Am I getting that old or am I just that dumb? When did I miss this terminology report? I feel like a nerd.

on the top left of every page there is a frequently asked questions, if u go there u can ask a question. no one has asked a question that i know of but it should go to me, michelle and erin i think. erin would know for sure. or they could just start a new topic and ask and anyone could answer.

i personally think the one link is enough. it shows up on every page i think.

and for question 3. yes your old. lmao :rofl2:

You know, we should have put more thought in to the t-shirts/tanks and had a maternity one added when we all started having babies. I'm going to have to look online and see if there is a 4-wheeling preggo shirt available that maybe has a jeep wheelin' on some rocks strategically placed on the belly or chest for that matter! LOL!

Well that answers a lot of my questions.

So........you are basically saying that you don't know what swag is either.

According to the dictionary:
Swag, noun
1. Slang.
a. plunder; booty.
b. money; valuables

So, to answer your question, GBO swag is GBO booty(like pirate booty) and GBO valuables!

Interesting. You'd think I would have learned that from Pirates of the Carribean! Thanks for the info...... I have got to get with the times.

hehe - close...

Stuff We All Get (S.W.A.G.)
used in a sentence:
I went to the trade show and scored a ton of swag (s.w.a.g.) from the vendors like t-shirts, coffee mugs, bumper stickers, blah blah.

Actually the contact us is a good idea too - although the one I use to have is no longer supported with this code level, I'll see what I might be able to do to get it working. For now the forums is the fastest and easiest way for anyone to get in contact - I'll keep you posted when I have time to work on a contact link. Putting up an email address is never a good idea though, as it will be caught by spam spyders (bots) that just harvest email address's from websites to sign you up for crap email - An effective contact list has to be used or the site will get attacked like before with THOUSANDS of spammers. :)

Whatever you think Erinmacdaddy. Ur da boss.

My thoughts were along the lines of thinking in case somebody wanted to ask something and didn't want to look so stupid like me, that it wouldn't have to neccesarily be blasted all over an all-you-can-read forum. LOL! Because I'm cool like that, it is okay with me. I don't care if people know how stupid I can be because pretty much everybody knows my correct percentage ratio is at 97% and holding. (Because I tell them all the time..... "I told you so.") JK

I don't know about the technical side of it. I know you definitely want to stay away from spam. Instead of a mailbox maybe it could go to a PM box on the website and the PM could send a notification to somebody to open it. Would that work?

And THANK YOU for the enlightment on S.W.A.G. - Now I am truly up to date on my lingo. (Thanks for trying LIV! I still love you even though your correctness ratio is only 96.8%)

HA...i'm just the peon - anyhow - I got part of the contact us link fixed and cleaned up, but was unable to salvage the anti-spam section. We'll just run it like it is for now and if it becomes a problem, I'll remove it - it's a good idea to have there though. I know on my other sites most recently we had some kid email that he was stranded out in Chandler park and wanted to know if anyone could get him out! haha - it was good fun - he had a 2000 Chevy Tahoe with street tires and no chance of getting out of where he was stuck in the mud - but the contact link got him out safe before someone stripped his ride!
